--------------------------------------------------------------- Museum@ The Library Series --------------------------------------------------------------- Expanding our highly popular Museums of the World art tours, we are exploring three exceptional museums. The Broad in downtown Los Angeles on December 7 @6 pm. The State Hermitage in St.Petersburg, Russia on January 11 @ 6 pm. The Weisman Foundation in Los Angeles on April 12 @6pm. The Broad: In the heart of Downtown Los Angeles, the Broad Museum is an icon. With its waffle-like exterior, the building houses over 2,000 pieces of art, many of which belonged to Eli and Edyth Broad, billionaires, philanthropists and avid art collectors. Join us for a peek into this magnificent structure and some of the most interesting contemporary art to be found anywhere in the country. Join popular presenter Lee Rubenstein. Docent Lee Rubinstein holds degrees in English and History with a minor in Art History. She has led students through the Getty galleries since 2012 and founded a volunteer art program for under-served Los Angeles schools in 2007.
